Your wedding journey begins the moment you step through the gates of The Dragonfly Retreat. Nestled in the tranquil hills of Andalucía, the first day is all about relaxing, settling in, and soaking up the surroundings with your bridal party.

Back at The Dragonfly Retreat, our team will be working behind the scenes transforming the venue into your dream wedding space. We kindly ask that only the bridal party attend the property on this day to allow for set-up and a private run-through with your planner and celebrant.

💍 Day 2: The Big Day

Your Wedding Day, Dragonfly Style

Wake up in paradise and ease into the day with a delicious hot and cold breakfast served by the pool, surrounded by morning birdsong and gentle sunshine.

The excitement builds as the bridal suite becomes your sanctuary—a space filled with laughter, music, and preparation. Whether you bring your own glam squad or choose from our trusted local stylists, the transformation begins here. Meanwhile, your photographer starts weaving your love story into images from the very first moment.

Guests begin to arrive and are welcomed with chilled cava before gathering for your blessing ceremony. With the Andalusian sun casting golden light and music drifting through the air, your entrance is nothing short of magical.

After the “I do’s,” enjoy handcrafted canapés and more bubbles while you wander the gardens and scenic corners for your couple photos—each frame capturing joy, nature, and romance.

Later, everyone gathers beneath a dreamy stretch tent adorned with fairy lights for a lovingly prepared 4-course banquet. Fine wine flows, heartfelt toasts are made, and laughter fills the air.

As twilight deepens, the music begins. Your DJ sets the rhythm for the night, starting with your first dance and leading into a full-on celebration beneath the stars.

To keep spirits high into the evening, a delicious light supper is served as guests continue to dance, mingle, and soak in the magic of your wedding night.
